Bridal Fan Bouquets - New Trends for 2012
(October 27, 2011)Alternatives to the Bridal Bouquet are set to become hot trends as the 2012 wedding season approaches. Brides who want to avoid an old-fashioned wedding may want to avoid choosing a traditional flower bouquet and choose a fan bouquet, which consists of flowers attached to any one of our fans.
Originally from the Victorian Era, the fan bouquet became popular in the 1980's. This type of bridal bouquet was traditionally made with a fancy lacy fan with a bouquet of flowers, covering the fan that conform to the general shape.
One idea is to make very simple ones for your guests and then more elaborate fan bouquets for you and your bride's maids.
They will make wonderful wedding gifts for your guests and will be treasured. They may last a life time if you choose to go with artificial flowers but fresh flowers can be used as well. Your florist will be able to wire the flowers into the fan to create your desired bouquet.
PLEASE NOTE THE IMAGES BELOW ARE FOR IDEAS ONLY. WE DO NOT SUPPLY FAN BOUQUETS. YOU WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE ANY PLAIN FAN FROM OUR WEBSITE AND TAKE IT TO YOUR FLORIST TO BE DECORATED.
